Rules

1. Age Requirement

• LiveGlobalChat is an 18+ chat website. ALL users must be over the age of 18.
• Minors (under 18) are strictly forbidden, even with parental permission.
• Use the report button to flag any user you suspect to be under 18—this supports our multi-layered moderation mechanism.
• Accounts suspected of belonging to a minor are suspended pending review and may be permanently removed. Parents or guardians can reach us at support@liveglobalchat.com.

2. Respectful Conduct

• Obscene language, threats, or insulting conversation in text, voice, or video.
• Discrimination or hate speech based on race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, religion, age, cultural identity, disability, or appearance.
• Harassment, stalking, or repeatedly targeting the same user across sessions.
• Impersonating another person, a moderator, or LiveGlobalChat staff.
• Displaying weapons, or items that could reasonably be perceived as weapons, in video or images.
• Engaging in or promoting illegal activities, including drug use, criminal behavior, or distributing illegal materials.

LiveGlobalChat has users from over 242 countries and territories. Respect cultural differences—what's acceptable in one region may not be in another.

3. Nudity & Sexual Content

• Nudity, sexual behavior, or sexually suggestive conduct of any kind is never allowed, in any chat mode.
• Keep your camera on your face—showing more than your face, or filming in a state of undress, is prohibited.
• Our on-device detection systems continuously screen video sessions for likely violations of this rule and apply warnings or strikes automatically; confirmed or repeated violations lead to a ban regardless of automated warnings.

4. Gender-Based Solicitation

Indicating gender preferences (e.g., “m” or “f”) at the start of chats is strictly prohibited. LiveGlobalChat is not a dating site, and messages or camera behavior aimed at soliciting a specific gender for romantic or sexual purposes may be treated as a rule violation.

5. Rules by Chat Mode

5.1 Video & Voice Chat

All rules above apply in full. In Video Chat, keep your face clearly visible and centered; in Voice Chat, the same standards for language and conduct apply even without a camera.

5.2 Text Chat

The same conduct rules apply to written messages. If an AI companion feature is active while you wait for a match, it is clearly labeled as AI—treating it as, or trying to make it act like, a real person to deceive other users is not permitted.

5.3 Country & Topic Rooms

Rooms are shared spaces where multiple users can see the same conversation at once. Because more people are exposed to each message, room moderation may be stricter, and repeated minor infractions (e.g., off-topic spam) can lead to a room-specific mute or removal in addition to any account-wide action.

5.4 Friend / Direct Matching

If you reconnect with someone using a shared friend ID, all standard conduct and safety rules still apply. You are responsible for whom you share your own friend ID with.

6. Virtual Webcams & Fake Video

• Streaming pre-recorded videos, loops, or other people's footage through virtual webcam software is prohibited.
• A notification will display if the user you are chatting with uses a virtual webcam, so you can end the chat if you prefer a live connection.

7. Advertising, Spam & Disruptive Content

• No ads, spam, repetitive messages, irrelevant postings, or unsolicited commercial content, including links to other chat or payment services.
• Do not point your camera at advertisements, signs, or unrelated visuals—focus only on your face.

8. Third-Party Scripts & Bots

• Unauthorized software, scripts, automation, or bots used to interact with other users are strictly forbidden.
• Attempts to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or penetrate the platform's security, matchmaking, or moderation systems may lead to a permanent ban and legal action.

9. Reporting & Safety Tools

• Use the in-chat report button whenever you see a rule violation. Reports can trigger a snapshot of the interaction so our moderation team can review what happened.
• Automated systems run pre-match safety checks and continuously monitor video sessions; they are designed to warn first and avoid false bans from lighting or camera issues, but repeated or confirmed violations still result in enforcement.
• Community feedback, such as end-of-chat likes/dislikes, feeds into a trust score that can affect how you are matched and whether additional review is triggered.

10. Consequences of Rule Violation

Violating any rule may result in a warning, a temporary ban, or a permanent ban depending on severity and history. Paying for an un-ban does not guarantee immunity from future enforcement, and severe violations (such as those involving minors) result in an immediate permanent ban with no un-ban option. Our moderation team and automated systems monitor the platform 24/7.

11. Appeals

If you believe your account was actioned in error, you may request a review by emailing support@liveglobalchat.com with your account details and a description of the issue. We review appeals on a case-by-case basis, but not every enforcement decision can be reversed, particularly in cases involving suspected harm to minors.

12. Changes to the Rules

LiveGlobalChat reserves the right to modify these Rules at any time without prior notice. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after changes implies your acceptance of the updated Rules.
